Womens Rights Groups and Islamic Sharia Law

What I don't understand is organizations like NOW (National Org for Women) who don't or won't speak up about how women are treated under Islamic sharia law. If they are afraid they should just say they are afraid and disband. They could be brave and take a stand. Just my opinion, yours is welcome. While we still have freedom of speech.
